Venus in Leo

Venus governs what you're drawn to — in love, beauty and the things you consider worth having. In Leo, that takes on a fire temperament — warm and expressive, wanting to be genuinely seen.

By tradition Venus is neither strong nor weak in Leo, so it simply takes on the sign's character rather than being helped or hindered by it.

Leo is an fire sign — acts first, thinks later — energy that moves.

What Venus in Leo actually looks like

• In practice this shows up as being warm and expressive, wanting to be genuinely seen.
• Under pressure it defaults to type: acts first, thinks later — energy that moves. That is the fire reflex, for better and worse.
• Because Leo is fixed, it sustains — it holds a course once committed, hard to move off it, slow to begin and slow to let go.

Easy to misread as impatience or ego, when it is usually just urgency looking for somewhere to go.

Same fire element as Venus in Aries and Sagittarius, but where those lean cardinal and mutable, Leo is fixed: it sustains, holds a course once committed, hard to move off it, slow to begin and slow to let go.
